This session delivers a candid, real-world look at the challenges of implementing a high-speed isolator filling line—moving beyond theory to the operational realities that can derail even the most well-planned projects. The presentation examines a full line implementation at Jubilant HollisterStier, including what went wrong, what slowed progress, and how those challenges were successfully overcome.
Topics include positive and rough biological indicator findings, material compatibility issues, intentional and unintentional line breaks, schedule delays, and the development of proper aseptic behaviors inside the isolator environment. The session also highlights the critical importance of strong, transparent relationships between customers, filler vendors, and isolator vendors. The Groninger Integra Line paired with a SKAN isolator will be presented as part of the case study.
